CHAPTER-2 PAY OR PLAY

It was 7:00 am when Ichigo fell on the ground and woke up from his never ending sleep. His father jumped upon him in order to make Ichigo down on his knees but unfortunately Ichigo blocked his attack and pushed him towards the door. Ichigo then asked him that how’s the injury of Karin and Yuzu. On that he replied sobbing that they are all fine. The house has been hit by a truck which abrupt the backside of the house.
Ichigo was astonished that how Karin’s and Yuzu’s wounds are healed and how they don’t remember about what just happened last night. He then thought that maybe that soul reaper Rukia has erased the memories of the last night. He took the breakfast and walked out towards his school.
His school was huge and has spread in about 10 acres. As he entered his school, his friend came running towards him in order to hug him but as usual Ichigo kicked his butt and he fell on the ground. When Ichigo was walking in the corridor he made a clash with a girl. The girl has a shy nature. Her friend asked Ichigo to pick her bag, the girl smiled and walked back. When Ichigo and his friends were gossiping a girl came and asked Ichigo can I sit with him, but as he looked back he was astonished when he saw the face of the girl because the girl was Rukia the soul reaper. He started shouting at her that why you came here? And why she is wearing school dress? Rukia asked him to come along with her outside the school. She then told him that she is no longer a soul reaper and that’s why she is not able to go back to soul society. She also told him that from now onwards he has to take her job as a soul reaper. He instantly refused to do the same he said that his monster fighting days are over. Rukia told him that he has done fine on that day. On this he replied that he did fine that day because his family’s life was in danger. She became angry and wore a red color glove and said that she has no choice but to force him to do the job. She gripped his collar and dragged his soul out of his body. He was shocked as how he came out of his body. She now told him to follow her towards the park. As they reached the park he saw a spirit of a boy was running towards them. He was frightened and fainted. A huge and ugly hollow was chasing after him for devouring his soul. The boy slipped and fell on the ground. As Ichigo was trying to climb the boundary of the park in order to save the boy, Rukia stopped him and said that if he tried to save him then he has to save the rest of the world from these hollows with his own life. He made him free from Rukia and jumped to save him. As hollow brought his hand near to the boy, Ichigo slashed his hand and said I will help all of them. And made a cut on the hollow’s mask with his zankpakto .Ichigo then put the hilt of his sword on the boy’s forehead to do the console. Rukia told him that he has done it nicely. After it he walked away towards his school. Rukia gave him a smile.
The girl, whom he met and clashed in the morning, was reading in her house beside the window. Her name was Orihime Inoue. She used to live all alone. A spirit of a man was continuously watching her. His eyes were filled with sorrow and abash. He was looking very sad. As he turned back two hollows came in front of him and vanished into thin air with him.
He reached to an abandoned and lonely place where darkness was all around. He was wandering around with fear. Suddenly a group of hollows jumped upon him. He cried, but no one was there. His cry was filled with abhor and gloom which reverberated all around.
Meanwhile when Rukia and Ichigo were walking down the street, they heard screeching sound of a car’s tire. As they reached near it, they saw the car was gone far away and a girl was lying on the streets. When Ichigo lift her he saw that the girl was Orihime. As she saw Ichigo she smiled. When Ichigo asked her that HAVE SHE MET WITH AN ACCIDENT JUST NOW? To which she replied MAYBE! Ichigo proposed her to drop her to her home? She replied that I am fine. By the time Rukia suspected a bruise on her left leg. It was creepy. Rukia asked her about the bruise. Orihime said that it just happened now. Orihime then went towards her home.
Rukia asked Ichigo on the way about Orihime. He told that she was living with her brother, Sora two years ago. Sora died in a car accident and from that time she is living alone in her house. After hearing this Rukia left the place. Ichigo also left her and walked towards his home .Yuzu came into Ichigo’s room and asked about her “Pajamas”. Ichigo replied that I don’t care, never come back again without knocking the door. On the other hand as Rukia was thinking about the bruise of Orihime, her hollow detector rang and she jumped out and opened her door. Ichigo astonished by seeing her out of his cupboard and as seeing her wearing his sister’s pajamas. As ichigo was asking something, Rukia wore her red glove and dragged Ichigo out from his body as a soul reaper.
With a fraction of second a hollow’s hand came from the wall and broke ichigo’s bed from behind. The hollow seemed stronger and bigger. Ichigo stroked him with his zankpakto, but the hollow threw him on the ground. Then the hollow used his acidwire tail to push him but Ichigo dodged and stood up while raising his sword for tearing him apart but hollow grabbed his sword. Ichigo applied force to get rid from his grip and hence able to make a crack on his mask. The hollow screamed and shook his head in pain. He then vanished into thin air. The hollow again reached to the place where darkness was all around and as he touched his mask, he regains the broken portion of the mask. On the other hand Ichigo was shocked by seeing the face of the hollow. Rukia told Ichigo that when a hollow attacks from behind then the soul reaper must blow them in one stroke. It avoids to seeing the identity of the hollow. Ichigo asked what Identity? Rukia said that the hollows were the human spirits once but due to having regret or love for someone they either turned into hollow or devour by the other hollows. Ichigo replied, “But why to kill them; they were also a human once”. It doesn’t matter because when a spirit becomes a hollow they don’t have heart and hence they don’t have feelings.
Meanwhile Orihime’s friend came in her house with delicious food in her hand. Her name was Tatsuki Arisawa. She was Orihime’s best friend and a former partner of Ichigo in karate. By the time they were busy in gossiping, they heard a thud like sound accompanied by the trembling of roof and floor. Orihime became scared, her eyes grew wider and her face became pale. There was continuously thud like sound. It was really scary. Her teddy fell from height. Orihime and Tatsuki came closer to each other. THE SOUND GREW LOUDER AND LOUDER.....................

CHAPTER-1 A Shinigami Is Born!

A 15 YEAR OLD HIGH SCHOOL BOY NAMED ICHIGO KUROSAKI WAS LIVING WITH HIS FAMILY IN KARAKURA TOWN.HIS FAMILY RUNS A MEDICAL CLINIC IN TOWN.MAYBE THEY ARE INTERESTED IN THE LIVES OF THE LIVING.HE POSSESS A KIND OF POWER THAT ALLOWS HIM TO SEE SOULS OF THE DEAD.HIS FATHER WAS FUNNY AND A LAZY PERSON.HE HAS TWO SISTERS KARIN & YUZU.KARIN IS HAVING BOYISH ATTITUDE WHEREAS YUZU IS SHY GIRL.THEY ARE NOT HAVING THE POWER WHICH ICHIGO POSSESS, BUT THEY FEEL THE PRESENCE OF SOULS.





RECENTLY ICHIGO IS SEEING MORE SPIRITS AS COMPARED TO PREVIOUS DAYS.



NEXT DAY WHEN HE WOKE UP, HE SAW NEWS ON T.V THAT A BLAST OCCURED NEAR HIS HOUSE.AFTER HAVING HIS BREAKFAST HE WALKED OUT OF HIS HOUSE TO ATTEND HIS SCHOOL.AS HE CAME ACROSS A POLE HE OPENED HIS BAG AND TOOK A FLOWER POT FROM HIS BAG AND PUT IT ON THE ROAD BESIDE THE POLE. BUT HE OBSERVED THE YOUNG SPIRIT GIRL FOR WHOM HE USED TO KEEP THE FLOWER POT. SUDDENLY AN AIR GUST ACCOMPAINED BY A DEEP AND A STRANGE SOUND.HE FOLLOWED THE SOUND AND HE SAW THE SPIRIT GIRL FAINTING AND RUNNING TOWARDS HIM.




AN UGLY AND DREADFUL MONSTER WAS CHASING THE SPIRIT IN ORDER TO EAT HER SOUL.AS THE MONSTER CAME ACROSS ICHIGO, A BLACK BUTTERFLY CAME IN FRONT OF HIM AND ABRUPTLY CHANGES ITS SHAPE INTO A GIRL.SHE WAS A PRETTY GIRL WEARING BLACK KIMONO ALONG WITH A SWORD HANGING ON HER WAIST. SHE TOOK HER SWORD IN HER HAND AND BLEW THE MONSTER’S FACE.IN THE SECOND BLOW SHE RAISED HER SWORD AND BRUTALLY CUT DOWN THE MONSTER’S HEAD INTO TWO PARTS. AS SHE MANAGED TO KILL HIM SHE VANISHED IN THE THIN AIR.




AFTER SHE VANISHED, EVERYONE WAS CONFUSED THAT WHAT JUST REALLY HAPPENED.THE CITY REVERBERATE WITH THE SOUND OF THE SIREN.THE SUN STARTED GETTING FADE, THE DAY CAME TO AN END, THE DARK SKY WAS COVERED BY STARS AND THE MOON.COLD WIND STARTED BLOWING WITH THE RUSTLE OF THE LEAVES WHICH GAVE OUT A CREEPY FEELING.

THAT NIGHT ICHIGO WAS TOTALLY CONFUSED,WHAT REALLY HAPPENED OUT TODAY.HIS MIND WAS WHILING AND AS HE WAS SEEING THE MOON FROM HIS WINDOW, A BLACK BUTTERFLY CAME INSIDE THROUGH THE WINDOW SAME AS FROM THE LAST TIME.SHE TRANSFORMED INTO A GIRL.
ICHIGO BECAME SCARED AFTER LOOKING HER AND KICKED HER’S BUTT.


SHE WAS SHOCKED AS HOW AN ORDINARY HUMAN IS ABLE TO SEE HER.SHE WAS AMAZED BY THE FACT THAT AN ORDINARY HUMAN LIKE ICHIGO COULD FEEL HER PRESENCE. SHE TOLD ICHIGO THAT HER NAME IS RUKIA AND SHE IS A ‘SOUL REAPER’. SHE WAS SENT ON A MISSION TO THE WORLD OF LIVING BY THE SOUL SOCIETY. SHE DEALS WITH THE DEMONS THAT THEY SAW EARLIER.BY THE TIME SHE WAS EXPLAINING; HE TOOK A TABLE AND THREW IT ON HER, AS HE ABNEGATED THE FACT, WHICH SHE WAS TELLING. BY THE ACT OF ICHIGO, SHE BECAME ANGRY AND SPELL ‘BAKUDO 1’, A KIDO THAT ONLY SOUL REAPER CAN DO.AS SHE SPELL THE KIDO, ICHIGO BECAME PARALYZED. ICHIGO FELL ON THE GROUND WITH A THUD; SHE TOOK HER SWORD AND PUT THE HILT ON THE HEAD OF THE SPIRIT TO SEND HIM TO THE SOUL SOCIETY.

SHE EXPLAINED THE DETAILS ABOUT WHY SHE WAS IN THE WORLD OF LIVING. SHE TOLD HIM THAT THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF SPIRITS.GOOD SPIRITS KNOWN AS WHOLES AND THE EVIL SPIRITS KNOWN AS HOLLOWS.HOLLOWS ATTACK TO THE SOUL OF LIVING AND DEAD INORDER TO DEVOUR THEM. SHE TOLD HIM THAT SOUL REAPERS HAS TWO MAIN JOBS.

1-TO SEND WHOLES TO THE SOUL SOCIETY THROUGH CONSOUL, AS SHE HAS DONE EARLIER.
2-TO EXERCISE THE HOLLOWS WHEREEVER THEY FIND.



MEANWHILE THE HOLLOW WHO WAS NEAR BY THE CITY, FELT OUT A STRONG SPIRITUAL PRESSURE WHICH ICHIGO AND RUKIA POSSESS.HE WENT TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF ICHIGO’S HOUSE.BEFORE THEY COULD REALIZED THAT A HOLLOW WAS COMING TOWARDS THEM, THE HOLLOW BROKE INTO HIS HOUSE. YUZU CAME EXHAUSTED INTO ICHIGO’S ROOM AND SAID THAT KARIN IS IN DANGER, PLEASE SAVE HER. AS SHE COMPLETED HER SENTENCE, SHE BECAME UNCONCIOUS AND FELL DOWN.ICHIGO ASKED RUKIA TO MAKE HIM FREE OUT OF HER KIDO.SHE REFUSED TO FREE HIM AND WENT OUT TO FIGHT WITH THE HOLLOW.ICHIGO STUMBLED ON STAIRS AND FELL TO THE GROUND. RUKIA WAS ASTONISHED AS HOW HE, AN ORDINARY HUMAN CAN MOVE AFTER SHE SPELT THE KIDO. SHE GRABBED HER SWORD INORDER TO KILL THE HOLLOW.BUT THE FACT WAS THAT SHE HAD NEVER FOUGHT WITH A HOLLOW HAVING SUCH STRONG SPIRITUAL PRESSURE. DUE TO SUCH HIGH SPIRITUAL PRESSURE RUKIA WAS BARELY ABLE TO MOVE, SHE WAS SWEATING ALL AROUND AS SHE WAS BEARING THE PRESSURE.ON THE OTHER HAND ICHIGO WAS STILL STRUGGLING TO GET RID OF THE KIDO.BY SEEING KARIN IN DANGER HE BROKE THE KIDO AND RELEASE HIS SPIRITUAL PRESSURE. AS HE WAS FREE FROM THE KIDO, HE TOOK A METAL CHAIR AND JUMPED TOWARDS THE HOLLOW INORDER TO HIT HIM.BUT AS HE JUMPED, THE HOLLOW PUNCHED ICHIGO AND HE FELL ON THE GROUND. AS THE HOLLOW MOVED FORWARD TO KILL ICHIGO, RUKIA INTERVENED THE PATH INORDER TO SAVE ICHIGO.SHE USED HER SWORD TO MAKE A CUT ON HIS ARM. SHE TOLD HIM THAT THE HOLLOW DOSE’NT CAME TO DEVOUR HIS FAMILY’S SOUL.HE WAS SEEKING A SPECIFIC SOUL TO DEVOUR WHICH POSSESSES HIGH SPIRITUAL PRESSURE. SHE EXPLAINED ICHIGO THAT THE HOLLOW CAME FOR HIS SOUL BECAUSE HE WAS HAVING HIGH SPIRITUAL PRESSURE DELVING INSIDE HIM.IT STARTED COMING OUT WHEN HE CAME NEARER TO THE SPIRIT GIRL.THE HOLLOW WAS CHASING HER INORDER TO TRACK HIM DOWN.



ICHIGO FREEZED WHEN HE REALIZED THAT ALL THE TROULBE, WHICH THE SPIRIT GIRL AND HIS FAMILY FACED, WAS BECAUSE OF HIM.HE CAME IN FRONT OF THE HOLLOW AND ASKED TO FIGHT WITH HIM ONE ON ONE. THE HOLLOW BECAME ANGRY AND ATTACKED HIM.RUKIA AGAIN INTERVENE THE PATH TO BLOCK HIS ATTACK BUT SHE WAS ABORTIVE IN DOING SO.

AS SHE CUT DOWN THE HOLLOW’S TEETH, SHE WAS BADLY INJURED AND BARELY COULD MOVE.SHE ASKED ICHIGO THAT WHETHER HE WANTS TO SAVE HIS FAMILY OR NOT, IN WHICH HE REPLIED, YES. THEN SHE TOLD HIM TO GRAB HER ZANKPAKTO AND STAB HIMSELF INORDER TO TRANSFER HER POWER TO HIM.HE TOOK HER ZANKPAKTO AND STABBED HIMSELF.SUDDENLY A WHITE LIGHT SPREAD WITH A GUSH OF STRONG WIND.THE HOLLOW WAS UNABLE TO SEE HIM.




AS THE LIGHT WAS GETTING FADE, RUKIA SAW AN ABRUPT CHANGE IN ICHIGO.HE WAS WEARING THE BLACK KIMONO AND HAD A ZANPAKTO, WHICH WAS HUGE.RUKIA, ASTONISHED WHEN SHE SAW HIS ZANPAKTO AND SPIRITUAL PRESSURE, SHE NEVER SAW AN ORDINARY HUMAN WITH SUCH A HIGH PRESSURE.

A CIRCLE OF SPIRITUAL PRESSURE IN A FORM OF WIND SURROUNDED HIM.HE SAID TO THE HOLLOW BY CUTTING HIS ARM INSTANTLY THAT, “IT’S OVER”. AND CUT DOWN THE HOLLOW’S FACE IN ONE GO.HE THEN TOOK AN OATH TO PROTECT HIS FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT………………………..
